The Florida Kiwanis Foundation is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new grant opportunity designed to strengthen and revitalize Kiwanis Clubs across the Florida District, the Save A Club Grant.
Established through a generous legacy gift from Florida Kiwanis Foundation Board Member Steve Arrington, this grant reflects a deep commitment to the long-term health, growth, and impact of Kiwanis Clubs. The Save A Club Grant empowers clubs to reimagine their service, reconnect with their communities, and attract new members through meaningful, hands-on projects.
A Grant Designed to Renew and Rebuild
The Save A Club Grant was created with one clear goal in mind: helping existing Kiwanis Clubs grow stronger through service. By supporting new service projects, this grant encourages clubs to engage new community partners, welcome potential new members, and reignite enthusiasm within their membership.
Clubs are invited to think creatively about how service can be a catalyst for connection, visibility, and sustainability… all while staying true to the mission of Kiwanis.
Grant Details at a Glance
- Annual Funding Available: Up to $1,250 each year from the endowed fund
- Grant Amount: Up to $400 per club, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted
- Eligibility: Active Kiwanis Clubs in the Florida District that have been established for five or more years and are committed to rebuilding or expanding membership through service
- Special Consideration: Preference may be given to clubs with fewer than 20 members, and annually to one club in Division 5, until all Division 5 clubs have had an opportunity to receive a grant
- Deadlines: December 15 and June 15 each year
Review and Award Process
Applications will be reviewed by the Florida Kiwanis Foundation Grants Committee, with final approval by the Board of Trustees. Grant awards are typically announced following review periods in early March and August.
