Greetings Kiwanis Florida Foundation,
It is national volunteer week and we wanted to take a moment to THANK YOU for all of your service! Florida has over 6,800 Kiwanis members. These members contribute to their communities with their time, talents, and financial donations. It is no surprise that so many of our clubs have come to assist their cities in this unprecedented time of crisis. We have many members who are sewing masks for first-responders and medical teams. Clubs are developing new food programs to aid the under privileged, while improving existing programs. Volunteers are delivering food to children daily and brightening lives through simple acts of kindness toward strangers. It is our members who are continuing the selfless work of creating a legacy for the children of Florida.
Also, we want to thank you for supporting the Florida Kiwanis Foundation by applying for grants and scholarships. It is our mission to support clubs and SLPs within Florida. We are honored to assist you with your programs and projects.
We know it has been a lot of work to make such a large local and state impact, but you have done an amazing job! You are such an important part of our organization, and we wanted to take the time to recognize your efforts and communicate our sincere gratitude.
